when does things ever turn out the way they should?

i suddenly feel very very down.
i dont know why.
maybe because i'm jealous of friend1
maybe i'm not
maybe i know that i would never be as close to friend2 as friend1
maybe i'm not
or maybe i'm just denying the truth as it comes
trying to make myself think that everything that friend2 ever says to me is because friend2 likes me, trying to make myself think that friend2 is really my friend. i guess not

but i'm not gonna act like an asshole,
i'm not gonna treat anyone differently
i'm just gonna act as if everything is alright
i'm gonna act as happy and gay as i narmally am
